Acer - Laptop Model Location [back top]
Look under your laptop and locate the the service tag/product tag. You will see the Brand of laptop and model number. In the above picture, the Example shows
Brand: Acer
Model: Aspire
Series: 1680
The correct search term would be eg. Acer Aspire 1680
Apple: How to find model number [back top]
With Mac's and Macbook's the user needs to identify where the serial number is - once this is established you should be able to see a model number next ot it. Generally when it comes to these laptops the model number will start with an A number. The above picture, although not clear shows the white strip where the serial number and most importantly model number. Above example:
Brand: Apple
Model: A1342
Correct Search Term: Apple 1342
When it comes to searching for Apple laptop screens it is quite easy to find the correct model however the aluminium model Mac's can be a bit different where you have to remove the battery to locate the serial number. The below picture shows an example of a customer wanting to buy one of our laptop screens identifying the serial and model number. Remember all you need is the model number.
Toshiba: How to find model [back top]

The most common error customers do when they want to buy a Toshiba laptop screen is search using the searial number of 'Toshiba Model NO'. The above picture is of a very popular laptop screen that we sell - the correct term to search by in the above example would be:

HP: How to find model

HP laptop screen are the easiest to find. Located under the laptop, the base there is a 'service tag' sticker. Indicated as #1 on the sticker is the Product. Only search via the product number. In the above example you will see it is 'HP Paivilion DV9000' So the correct search term would be as follows:
Brand: HP
Model: Pavilion
Series: DV9000
Search: Pavilion DV9000
